I used to go to noir yaletown regularly but during one of my appointments the tech cut my natural lashes short before applying the extensions. Once that set came off I was left with stubby short lashes and years later they still haven’t recovered properly. Im disappointed to write this review as I have been a long time customer. On my last set of lashes, I was left with a large bruise on my eyelid from Having the tape removed by the tech after getting a lash fill. This business sends out a text and email to ask the client to review the experience. I let them know about the bruise and my experience. I never asked for any refund or discount, just shared that it was painful and I was stuck with very visible bruise for about 4 days. No one ever followed up with me about my experience. Took me a while to post but I went there for quite some time for some big beautiful bold lashes. A couple people would do my lashes sadly I arrived one day someone asked me if I used a lot of makeup (she saw these white flakes) which was first of all really insulting because I only wore mascara on a daily basis and I wash my face daily. however there was more to the story. I went to another salon since Noir was closed to get a fill the lady there was so kind and told me the white flakes were not makeup build up but an eyelid infection which was caused by unsanitary tools...So long story short I removed my lashes and never went back, the lashes really damaged my natural...read full review
