The sales associate who originally helped me was friendly and professional, and I really appreciated his service.! However, the rest of the experience was disappointing.
I was mistakenly given another customer’s receipt. When I returned to exchange the item, the manager spoke to me in a rude and accusatory tone, demanding the “original receipt” as if I had brought the wrong one. Only later did we figure out it was the store’s mistake. Even then, there was no apology, and she chose to reprimand the associate in front of me, which felt unprofessional and unnecessary.

Honestly, the client advisors here are nice (some of them) but the fairmont location has way friendlier advisors. The pieces you get at the hotel are also all brand new and actually pristine. Unfortunately Holt Renfrew’s stuff is a gamble. Not sure if they have a higher return rates there or what… but some bags are already creased in the leather or the hardware is completely scuffed. They also don’t offer to let you inspect the bag unless you ask. I purchase a wallet and they didn’t even tell me they offer complimentary initial stamping. I would just go straight to LV at Fairmont. They did everything they’re supposed to and more.

This was a very long time ago, but a lovely associate named Harsh (apologies if I spelt your name wrong.) Really took her time with me and my boyfriend. I am very picky, but that did not stop her from showing me plenty of options, haha. It was my birthday, too. She really made me feel special and was very transparent on the care and qualities of my new bag. I would highly recommend going to see her if you get the chance. She is usually busy! The video below also has her putting my initial on my bag’s little tag it came with. Free service with my purchase :)
