Don and Kyo created a wonderful jewel box for us from a completly blank slate. “I had two serious issues to tackle with: 1. Downsize and move out of a rancher after 25 years with lots of antique pieces and carpets and 2. Furnish a newly purchased, three-bedroom condo before it was built! Both tasks were beyond my capabilities and the nightmare affected my health until…Negar graciously accepted to help me with both issues after close friends had assured me of her talent and dedication. Now, 2.5 years later, I am happily living in the condo and I love it. She has exceptional talent for matching colours allowing the carefully curated paintings, antique pieces, carpets and furniture items do the talking. After I approved the design layout and decided on her recommended furniture items and beddings, she ordered, received, inspected and placed them as planned. Voilà.

On the process of downsizing and moving out of the rancher, when I was almost crippled, Negar found me the amazing packers (Harmony Home Organizing) and movers. She took control and supervised the task of discarding, donating, unpacking and placing the chinaware and silverware I wanted to keep. I love flowers and she so elegantly and colorfully populated the coffee table, side tables, countertop, etc throughout the condo. They keep me busy to look after them!

“My wife Patti and I met Corey when we decided to renovate our condo at the Wall Centre. My wife thought that she would be the designer and Corey would advise. However, Corey had some wonderful ideas and we felt that this guy is good. Corey got along with the two of us so well and if we suggested something he would take that idea and make it so much better. Since my attitude is that of an engineer, my concern was the practical matter of actually being able to have them built. Just one day after our initial (long) meeting, Corey had produced working drawings for us. These were done entirely by him, not by a draftsman. Not only did Corey have brilliant ideas, but a complete knowledge of construction methods, codes and good practices.One example is our Closet System. We told our rough ideas of what we wanted and in less than an hour, the design was fleshed out. Again, the next day we had a complete set of working drawings. Our Closet System is a beautiful (and practical) thing.We have a number of friends who have used designers. Almost all have had some criticism of them. Some have gone through as many as three.
