We worked with Laura from Glenhaven and she was excellent in helping us provide a beautiful service for our mother in a traditional Chinese agenda. She helped suggest items, remove redundant costs or needs, and interpret our customs and superstitions that aligned with our mother’s wishes. We greatly appreciated her kind expertise in helping with our arrangements. It was helpful to be able to visit and plan AV for out slideshow to ensure it was working ahead of time. She was very gracious in updating our website and obituary several times as we wrote it. Many people congratulated us on the elegant setting for the service and how smoothly it went. Thank you so much!
It was a smooth and great experience I had with our funeral director Alex for my late father's funeral. During this messy and chaotic time for me, Glenhaven simplified the process. They were also very accommodating of the Chinese/Buddhist rituals that my family requested to have. The small touches and detailed customer service truly made a difference.
I highly recommend Alex and his team. They were very professional and took great care of everything. Alex guided us from the beginning and made it easier for us during this difficult time. He went above and beyond for our special requests for my father's Buddhist memorial service. It was very much appreciated. The webcam was a plus. Our relatives could watch the service from the States, Taiwan and Japan also to save the video afterwards. All went smoothly thanks to Alex and his team.
