I ve been going to this salon for almost 11 yrs. Always been super happy with Shida. There is something going on there right now. It used to be a fun place . Now the tension is thick. One stylist ( about a year) is very rude with customers and clients. She talks on her cell phone for an hour, loudly, and in a different language. Besides that I have heard her tell another employee to be quiet while she’s talking on her cell phone. Emergency when Shida was off, while blowing my hair ( I think the name starts with an F told me Shida had cut my hair unevenly. B.s. people stop me to ask where I get my hair done frequently. Besides who talks about another employee like that . A 103 yr old long time client was told to move because she was standing at the desk wrong on a walker and this F got really annoyed because this elderly woman didn’t know what she meant. The lady was trying to check in. F got ruder and then she actually went around the counter and told her which leg to move first. It was hard for me to stay in my seat. I was furious. She tells me on the phone that Shida is not available when I find out she was. There are 2 younger stylists who have come recently, and they are consistent with the shop, in friendliness,kindness and pitching in to help. I’ve seen the other stylists called up to cash register and chastised because F has called the boss to complain that it’s the other stylists who are rude . Not so, anytime F acts like his, the rest of the patrons roll their eyes I’ve given a five star because the other girls don’t deserve a low rating. I’d hate to see this shop lose business because it really was a fun place to go
