“My wife and I were in the process of upgrading our fairly large kitchen countertops. We checked a number of local options but really weren’t satisfied with the lack of clarity of options from them. They tended to want to give us what we thought we wanted as opposed to what options would be best suited for our needs.
Then we meet with Steph and Doug from Madeira Stone. - great breath of fresh air. Not only did they offer a great history of quality work but they had the courage to make suggestions that were most appreciated at the end of the project. One example was backsplash. I wanted to keep the small tile backsplash that I installed (it was okay but, I’m not an installer). When I accepted the inevitable, I wanted to remove the tiles and save the drywall. Some appropriate and clear discussions with Steph and Doug brought me around and the old drywall and tile was cut out. Now it was all on Doug’s shoulders to template and install. Everything was seamless (pun intended ?), complicated cuts and a good number of power outlets went together perfectly.
At the end of the project and now almost a year later we are still left with a feeling of total satisfaction. Our kitchen is upgraded, bright and way more modern.
In short, if you have the desire for quality work and honest and sincere support go to Madeira Stone. The appreciation of quality work lasts longer than the few extra dollars it might cost to get it.
