Don't hesitate to call Black Fern! I phoned them today to have a gas range disconnected so that we could install our new induction stove and Cam was able to help us the same day! He was on time, polite and went above and beyond even helping us move the new stove into place. We are new residents to the area and are very happy to have found our go-to company for plumbing and Gas.
This is the third time I have used this company and I will never need to look for another. The attention to detail and level of care put into clean my carpets and sectional couch is second to none. I own multiple carpet cleaners but nothing compares to the level of cleaning and service you get with him.

I broke my 5th metatarsal in December. My mobility was limited which grately affected the arthritis in my right hip. I was unable to do any exercises that would help it. I went to Richard today. He worked on both hips, hamstrings and calfs. It has really helped. He explains everything and also gave me an exercise for my hamstrings i would highly recommend him

I don't regularly wear makeup and I never wear lashes, so I was concerned about how I would do with a full face on my wedding day, but Trish's skill with colour, knowledge of her materials and craft, and ability to work with me every step of the way was amazing. Sasquatch Heat Pumps came recommended to me from a neighbour. I'm so glad to have chosen them first to level, then deep-clean our heat pump. The unit was over a decade old, badly off kilter and likely never serviced. Kate at Sasquatch Heat Pumps fit an appointment into my schedule and Shaun came out almost immediately.
He assessed and addressed the issue with levelling the exterior unit and did a thorough inspection of the interior module. After performing a light cleaning as per the details of the visit, he identified a major issue of mold and bacteria inside the unit. This was a leftover from the previous owners, who had likely never serviced the unit. He was prompt, cheerful and professional and I was confident we were in good hands. After he was done, the exterior unit no longer sounded like a seaplane on final approach, but instead like a normal fan operating at optimum efficiency.
Back at the office, Kate was able to book Taylor in for a major deep-clean of the unit. Taylor was also prompt, cheerful and professional and very adept at cleaning out the deepest recesses of the wall-mount unit. After she was finished, the difference was dramatic! Our air smells fresh, the fan inside is quiet but more powerful and everything sparkles!
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Sasquatch Heat Pumps to anyone needing any type of heat-pump work done at a reasonable rate. Aron and his crew took down a ginormous and precarious rotting hemlock on a hilly part of my property. Like magic that behemoth came down in the best possible spot while my neighbour stood watching in awe from her deck (and probably ensuring it didn't land on her roof). The tree was cut into rounds as I requested and the mess cleaned up and chipped. Legendary comes highly recommended.

This was first acupuncture appointment and I really enjoyed it. Xiole was very welcoming and answered all my questions and was great at explaining the process and what’s she was doing. I made the appointment to help with tightness in my shoulders and neck and I left feeling lighter, less tense, and pretty amazing. I’ll definitely be going back.

I was travelling through Sooke and stopped here for a car wash. I used the wand bay and it worked great. I paid by credit card and stopped when the machine displayed that I had used up $4.00 worth. When I returned home, my CC was charged $15.
I went to their website and it says "When using the wand bay, please make sure you press the red illuminated stop button once you are done washing. Pressing that button completes the transaction. Failure to press that button can result in a $15 charge on your card."
It would be useful to have the information by the machine where I paid. As a traveler it didn't occur to me or anyone else to read instruction on how to complete a car-wash transaction ahead of time.
It would be better if the machine would allow me to enter the amount I wish to purchase with my CC before the car wash. This is how their coin option works.
I'm disappointed at the lack of consideration for human usability and the opportunistic over charge. So... if you use the wand bay, pay by coins.
Updated: I changed their rating from two to four because the company responded to my email about the overcharge promptly and genuinely wants to rectify the problem. I give them four stars for being responsive to customer feedback. I do like their wand bay facility.

Lovely stay for the night. I incidentally walked thru the men's room, (the main sign for the pool was on that door) and I discovered three chairs, and if memory recalls two stalls and a urinal, and presumably a sink. I back tracked through the woman's area, which is a short hallway, and a locked door to a maintenance room - no chairs, no rest room. So, for the men out there, enjoy the luxury of World Hotels Luxury, and if you wonder why your lady is not sure what the deal is, its because its a hallway with non of the accoutrements at her behest. She probably got the baby in her hands as well. Enjoy the urinal.
Sooke Electric are super great contractors, they provide safe and timely service, always fair and thorough. They have installed a heat pump, rewired part of my house, and I never had any problems afterwards. I highly recommend them, people you can trust! Todd O
