I got to know this gym by searching online when I decided to start exercising regularly to overcome the slight depression I had been suffering from since I moved to Canada. I didn’t know anyone at this gym, so I booked a consulting session and decided to enroll in their program simply because I needed the opportunity to exercise, and the location was convenient for me—not far from work or home and with enough parking spots—that was enough for me. At that moment, I didn’t expect to fall in love with this gym and its people at all. From the perspective of an introverted person, I thought CrossFit was for extroverts (my friends were also worried when they heard I had enrolled in CrossFit?). But everyone, including the coaches and members, is super friendly and nice to each other. It has been quite a positive stimulation in my daily life. In addition to my health and mental improvement, I am happy to belong to this community. If someone is like me—a beginner, introvert, or someone who struggles to be consistent—I highly recommend checking out this gym!
Sam and Sebastien did a wonderful job on our place! They were knowledgeable and professional, always showed up right when they said they would, and were very accommodating when we made a mistake that delayed the timeline of the job. They fixed a couple doors, installed flooring, baseboards, and cabinetry. I cannot get over how good everything looks and how they got it all done in the time they said it would take.
Next time we need some work done, we'll definitely be reaching out to them.

We were very pleased with our recent kitchen, hallway to include bathroom floor renovation completed by United Floors (Sidney). It's not easy making a product decision and they were most helpful. Installation workmanship totally professional and the personnel are people that you could look forward to having back. Challenges were dealt with leaving us very comfortable. Also we had an excellent painter referral.

I had the best hair cut in years. my stylist was Lady Anne, very talented with my crazy thick unwill hair. I thank her very much for dealing with my 4 cowlicks. I love this shops humor and the toolbox look. I am a contractor myself. I also noticed everyone who walked out while I was there with perfect hair. If you have time for a new look or just a touch-up, I ask you to make an appointment, as well as visit Sydney BC. making a day of it.

I just moved here and have been so busy, I had no time for a color and cut. My daughter suggested Sidney Beauty Salon and Tanning and I honestly have to say that Goli is an excellent stylist! She is knowledgeable and kind. I will most definitely be returning every time I need a cut and color.
A great experience! I had a very specific tire in mind and they happily ordered it for me. Both front of house people I spoke with were very helpful, friendly and respectful. I am a femme presenting person and these situations tend to give me alot of anxiety but not here. It was very pleasant. They went the extra mile by noticing and fixing some broken lug nuts I had within the allotted time. I went for a walk by the water and it was all done well within the time frame they told me. Great experience for what it is! No pain, relaxing environment with some nice background music. Dr. Follows was easy to talk to and was there when I needed to call post vasectomy.Recomendations for future patients.- do absolutely nothing for a week, except go to the bathroom. I did too much and had some bleeding.- buy good pouch underwear so your boys don’t move. Maybe even compression shorts the week after if you go back to a physical job.Good luck!!!
We had a wonderful first experience at this clinic. All of the staff were super informative and helpful with my kiddos eye exams and glasses. I truly enjoyed the experience. The doctor was also super patient with them and made sure to get an accurate prescription for them.
I also wanted to thank Jodie who is one of the receptionists for informing us of the contest going on as my 8 year old daughter River is the biggest Taylor Swift fan and has been praying daily that she will win. What an amazing opportunity .

All I can say is WOW!! I have gone to multiple salons in the Vancouver area and in Victoria and this has been the best mani/pedi I’ve ever had. I’m super picky that after a mani I always end up having to clean up my cuticles myself because they don’t fully remove it. Ola is spectacular. So gentle and precise. She is much better than any of the technicians I thought were good over the years. The girl that did my pedicure (unfortunately didn’t get her name but she had orange hair) was fantastic too. As long as I live in Victoria I will be coming to this place. I could tell everyone here knows their stuff.

This is the 3rd time I've visited Sidney Island Haircutting and left absolutely pleased with the end result. The second appointment with Chanya involved haircut and highlights. Chanya wanted colour accuracy and so she thoughtfully checked with her supervisor, Brenda Lee. The end result was everything privately hoped for plus more!
A few months later Chanya remembered the original colour dye and time involved despite unavailable documentation. The end result was better (if that is even possible) with colour and texture throughout. I feel very fortunate to have found Chanya, who is thoroughly professional, addresses client requests with mastery, is affordable, above all extraordinarily kind and positive in disposition.

Awesome! Bob quickly understood the challenge and gave me some insights into carpet care, cleaning, deodorizing, stain removal and drying processes. The result on our 27 year old carpets were amazing, stains that we thought would never come out did. They look brand new. Bob was responsive and professional, as well as quite efficient.
