We had a small roof leak and had a local roofing company come in and repair the leak. We were provided the “fear” tactics that the roof needed immediate replacement or we would incur major mould damage. After contacting 6 roofing companies in the Cowichan Valley area, only 2 responded with quotes for a new roof. Kevin of Cowichan Valley Roofing insisted meeting at the house where he did a complete inspection and noted that the roof did not need immediate replacement but was on the “edge” of needing replacement and that it could last another 2-3 years. I was just at Rona looking for a sealant to seal a hole in my valley flashing. Kevin, the owner of Cowichan Valley Roofing happened to be there and overheard my conversation with the staff. Kevin was nice enough to suggest a sealant to use which Rona doesn’t sell. He proceeded to go out to his truck and get me the proper sealant. Came back into the store and just gave it to me. I’d never met Kevin but he was so nice to help me when really he didn’t have to. What a great big.THANK YOU KEVIN!!!!Tim Cech
