“Absolutely wonderful experience at Island haircutting with Julia. I went in not knowing what I wanted, a little nervous as I haven't always had the best experience in salons. Julia was kind, patient, and made for such wonderful conversation during the entire appointment. My brother coming here weeks prior, also had a wonderful experience and the same girl, Julia, did his hair as well. She was prepared with many inspiration photos and we went through them together. Ultimately, we decided a bleach and tone would look so lovely. Julia walked me through the process and even the extensive after care & touch ups for the future. Julia even recommend me 2 products, an anti heat damage spray and a purple shampoo, which I both gladly bought and have been using since. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined, Julia even took some photos for me after the appointment. I will be going to Julia for all my future hair appointments and touch ups from here on out, Thankyou for doing such an amazing job on my hair.“

“I couldn’t find thia place at first, because I didn’t realize it was inside her home , plus there was no sign. The owner made me feel so comfortable dispite me not scheduling an appointment, and especially with that being what she preferred. I wanted a full body wax and eyebrow with henna, she only had a little time so I couldn’t get it all done. I loved how she listened and did as I asked. Light and medium, I also took off the henna early. These are my before and after photos. I recommend this place. It has a very comfortable homey feel.“
