New Modern Reflexology offers a great massage at a lower price point. The staff is friendly and professional and the massage is wonderful. Reviewers praise the massage therapists' skills and the relaxing atmosphere of the establishment. It is certainly the best for this price range and offers great value for the money. However, it is important to note that New Modern Reflexology operates on a cash-only basis and does not accept insurance. Customers are also expected to tip generously, as the massage therapists' wages are lower than at other locations. Appointments are recommended.
I wish I’d have read the reviews more closely before going regarding tip pressure.
We called ahead and were basically killing time before dinner. One of us got the full body massage $65 (60 min) and the other got a neck and shoulder for $40 (30 min). The massages were typical Chinese style deep tissue. I wish they’d have asked us where to focus on for the full body.
Like lots of other reviewers wrote, they expect a certain tip amount. I surmise it should be around 20%. I prefer to have the price they want and then they earn their tip based on the customer’s preference. Or be like Asia and forget the tip all together. It’s out of control in the US...read full review
I have been to see Sonny 2x and I must say that her treatment have been very therapeutic for me. She applied a firm and medium pressure and she covered all exposed parts of my body. This is great because far too often, my hands and feet don't get any attention. I left feeling rejuvenated and I'll be back to try other staff as well.
I gave it 4 stars because they're were a few interruptions to answer the door or talk to coworkers.
I recently visited this Chinese massage place and had a great experience overall. The staff is friendly and professional, and they genuinely do their best to communicate with you, even though language can be a bit of a barrier. It's clear they want to provide the best service possible, so they put in the effort to understand your needs.
The cost of the massage is very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of service you receive.
