Figured I would post on longevity. I’ve installed quite a few windows in my day as a carpenter so I have seen a few designs in my day. I recently bought a Moduline mobile in the north that has these windows in it. It’s from 1993. They are still working well. Love the tilt out for easy cleaning. A few broken handles (expected after all this time) but everything else works as it should. Place stays warm in the winter. Nice to see the company is still around and seems to use the same parts. Means I can replace them if needed. Would definitely use these guys in the future when the time comes to replace or add a window.

Woke up to find our furnace was not working. Called Crux and two very professional young men arrived before lunch and within the hour did the necessary repair to the ignitor and checked other aspects of the furnace to insure it was all in good order. Very satisfied with this company.

This is an overdue review. I've dealt with Haute House on 2 occasions and in both of them they have been amazing. This last time I was looking to replace the drapes and some blinds. Laurie was fantastic! She was on time for every meeting, very respectful and detailed. We've met with Laurie multiple times to go over the details of the drapery and blinds and she always had answers and if not, she was able to find the answers. The drapes look great! I was never excited by any piece of furniture or drapery, but after the installation I couldn't believe how nice they were made and how well they fit, the colour, the length, everything was perfect! The most complicated part was the blind for our balcony door, a glass window with an oddly shaped frame that I almost gave up on, but Laurie one day emailed me saying she has a blind that she can show me, and sure enough it fit perfectly and we got that one installed. I've also enjoyed chatting with the rest of the team at the Haute House store.I've had another company come over and give me a quote, but the reason I went with Haute House was really Laurie. She respected our time, and was able to have the holes from the old rods be covered on the same day, had the installation done in a very short time, and most importantly her ability to always find something that fit. And as a bonus, after the installation we didn't have to do any cleanup.I would recommend Laurie and Haute House without hesitation.

Laura is amazing. I always forget to take before and after photos but will do so next time. Great stylist with my thick head of hair. Comfortable using a razor to cut it and thin it out. Has great ideas for new styles or cuts. I highly recommend her for highlights, too.

Autumn and Kelby are absolutely amazing , they always are very nice and they give you exactly what you ask for. The clothes and over all atmosphere of this barber shop is amazing, the tunes are always great as well. The till staff is always very welcoming and very kind. Fantastic hair cuts, shop and people!!! I have been going to the last barber shop for about 5-6 years now, and have never been disappointed. I just went in recently to go get a fade and beard trim from David Lee. I went in looking like a homeless rabbi, and I left there looking scrumptious. Since I have been going there for a long time I have gotten a cut from almost all barbers there and they all will exceed your expectations.

Nov'23; the first time here, and this was by far the best nail experience I’ve ever had in Penticton! Taylor understood what I was looking for and did an amazing job. I'm very happy with my nails (soft gel extensions with dark green color and design), and will be back in 3-4 weeks.

I have very sensitive scar tissue from a burn on my foot. Along with calloused skin from the said burn. They were very gentle and professional handling my fears and anxiety I had getting a pedicure. His shop is very clean and has a great atmosphere .He listens to his clients on what they want and no what he thinks is best (which a lot of tattoo artist will do). He has done both my sleeves and I will continue working with Rasha as long as there is room on my body for more ink lol. A few weeks ago, my dad had a major sink back up in his kitchen sink.We tried everything from using a plunger to.Draino . To using a snake and nothing seemed to work.So we got hold of dewpoint plumbing.Lee came over and in no time at all.He was able to fix the problem.You went under the crawl Space cut a pipe and adjusted it.The way needed to be adjusted and something we would never be able to figure out on our own.I would highly recommend Leave from dew point plumbing for any major Backed up pipe situationssituations.

I haven't bought any tile yet but in my search for the perfect backsplash tile Sarah was so very helpful. We took home samples of white tile to match the countertop (it sounds easy but it isnt) and they were just what we need. There were 2 different manufacturers and $3 difference per sqft. I had my driveway paved by this company in 2012. Best money I've ever spent. I juat found the receipt and realized I'd never written a review. Their work is outstanding and my driveway still looks fantastic to this day. Recommend them to my neighbor and he had the same excellent service and workmanship I enjoyed. Highly recommend to anyone.
My wife and I were in the process of upgrading our fairly large kitchen countertops. We checked a number of local options but really weren’t satisfied with the lack of clarity of options from them. They tended to want to give us what we thought we wanted as opposed to what options would be best suited for our needs.
Then we meet with Steph and Doug from Madeira Stone. - great breath of fresh air. Not only did they offer a great history of quality work but they had the courage to make suggestions that were most appreciated at the end of the project. One example was backsplash. I wanted to keep the small tile backsplash that I installed (it was okay but, I’m not an installer). When I accepted the inevitable, I wanted to remove the tiles and save the drywall. Some appropriate and clear discussions with Steph and Doug brought me around and the old drywall and tile was cut out. Now it was all on Doug’s shoulders to template and install. Everything was seamless (pun intended ?), complicated cuts and a good number of power outlets went together perfectly.
At the end of the project and now almost a year later we are still left with a feeling of total satisfaction. Our kitchen is upgraded, bright and way more modern.
In short, if you have the desire for quality work and honest and sincere support go to Madeira Stone. The appreciation of quality work lasts longer than the few extra dollars it might cost to get it.

Briana is amazing with our dogs. She does our 3 dogs my mom’s little dog and my sisters dog. She is the only person that can cut our dogs nails. He does like his feet touched but she works her magic and he lets her. And when she is done we always get a great photo or 2 to share with family and friends and everyone just LOVES it. 10 out of 10 I would recommend.
