Twin Oaks Woodworking got me out of trouble with my in-laws. I had been trying to alter my father-in-laws desk to make it fit into his new home when I botched a cut. Even though they were extremely busy with other jobs, Nicki and Lance took the now badly out of square piece and quickly recut it for me. They even refused to accept any payment. It sure speaks to the kind of people they are. If I lived in the Parksville area and needed custom cabinets I would go straight to Twin Oaks Woodworking. And yes, my father-in-law loves his resized desk.

I visited several "custom" cabinet shops only to be told they could not build a second row of cabinets that sloped with the angle of the ceiling. Apparently custom to them meant choosing from two sizes of premanufactured cupboards Lance is a true craftsman. He and Nicki took my idea, provided great recommendations and were even more attentive to the fine details than myself. The quality of the hinges, the drawer sliders, the Lemans pullouts, the shelving and the drawer cabinetry are first rate. It's more than appearance. It's quality of materials, parts, workmanship and finish. Nicki and Lance are a pleasure to work with and I give them my highest recommendation. Oh, yes, I also want to mention Lance's son, Jason. He did the tile work for the back splash and around the window. It was very well layed out and his work is meticulous. Well done all, and thank-you. Richard Bradshaw Qualicum Beach
