I don't understand the bad reviews?? I had a great Shellac experience. The aesthetician was friendly, professional, very thorough, and educated me on everything she was doing. I got my nails done 3 weeks ago and they still look great- no chips, peeling, or catching on hairs. BY FAR the best shellac application I've had! I will most definitely be returning. My only criticism is that it was a bit hard to find. It is inside a salon however it not advertised at all.. The addresses were the same however I thought I was in the wrong place until I asked one of the salon workers.

I have literally just walked away from getting a shellac manicure at Illumin8, and I will tell you I am thoroughly impressed...Several months ago, I purchased an Illumin8 Groupon but had a very difficult time booking an appointment. Worried that I had purchased a Groupon "dud", I went online to do a bit of research and read the Google and Yelp reviews... not good. Determined not to lose my money, I persevered and after some back-and-forth, I was finally able book an appointment several weeks into the future.As I walked into the appointment today, I was prepared to experience bad service, minimal colour choices, old product and walk away with a sub-par manicure.
