Al was very prompt in responding to my message on their website. He setup time to inspect the fence panels which were about to fall off and were dislodged. He inspected the panels and was very patient in acknowledging the really good quality wood being used and pointed out the issues with the way the panels were secured. He said that it will take him 15 minutes to just fix the panels for now instead of doing a more involved fence repair project. He came by on another day and fixed the panels and was very gracious to not charge anything since it took him only a few minutes. We were blown away by his professionalism and definitely earned our trust by not proposing an expensive solution upfront but patiently explained how fences wear out over time and the things we can do to take maximum care to extend the life. In future when we need our fence to be repaired or replaced we’ll definitely be calling Al & team! Thank you Al!
Can't say enough about these guys! They came right on time when they said they would, removed 25 overgrown and failing cedars along my property line, all for what I considered to be a very fair and competitive price. Nick was great to deal with. All the workers were very professional, polite, did a GREAT job, and cleaned up well after the work was done. Really pleased with the results, and have no qualms in recommending them!

Upon entering the salon, I was welcomed warmly by Mika (despite getting her name wrong) and was promptly introduced to Yanu as well as Yoko. The salon was well-designed - inspired by Japanese elements - and it smelled light and fresh which made me feel immediately relaxed. After sitting on the salon chair I had my scalp assessment, with thorough explanation as to its current condition and the corresponding treatment it would need. Each product that was used was explained in detail before and after the treatment - so should you decide to buy the product, you know what its benefits would be. The treatment in itself was pure bliss - from the hair brushing, shampooing, scalp massage - each was done with precision and care that I found myself lulled to sleep. I would definitely be a returning customer and cannot wait for my mum and my sister to try it as well.

I only just discovered this gem of a hair salon. I received a men’s fade cut from Gordon, who is super nice and friendly. He cut it perfectly, and was super fast and the price is absolutely unbeatable. Cash, cheque or etransfer only. This will be my barber from now on. Gordon is so fantastic, I plan on going to him every 3 weeks

Thrilled with my recent visit to Beach Tanning Studio! In addition to their great tanning services, I tried their new Beauty Angel red light therapy machine. I've always heard about the benefits of red light therapy and was super excited to finally try it. The full-body machine, with the additional body vibration option, was a fantastic bonus. The entire experience was pleasant, and I left feeling rejuvenated. The studio was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back for more sessions!

It's so hard to find a salon that manually files down instead of using the drill when removing gel. But, I was surprised that Leah's is one of them. It was my first time at Leah's but everything was just absolutely perfect! I loved how gentle the whole procedure was. It was very soothing and comfortable. Can't wait to get my next gel pedicure done already!

I’ve been to Laque about 10 times. Jeniffer and Venoos are 10/10 amazing! Beautiful gel manicures, a lot of time and care taken, and long lasting results for a good price. The only reason I rated 4/5 is because not all of my experiences have been as good. Some of the techs were just average - nails weren’t as smooth, shape a little crooked. But as long as you see Venoos or Jeniffer, you’ll have a great experience.

OMG I thought I wrote a review for EverYoung already, but apparently I dreamed it. I have been going here for the past few years. There are so many things that I love about this clinic!!
1) The clinic itself is so beautiful, clean, and well-kept. The atmosphere is relaxing without being too clinical, and you feel like you're visiting a nice spa.
2) The staff are all super friendly and bubbly. They aren't trying too hard to be serious or fancy, which adds to the relaxation. I've been to clinics before where everyone is super formal, and it honestly just made me feel more anxious for my appointment.
3) The staff, from my experience, are all female. This just also makes me feel more comfortable in general as a woman myself. I don't feel any awkwardness or judgement and can just have girl time.
4) No upselling. I really love this. I've previously experienced major upselling while getting beauty treatments, or pressure to try new things. If I ask a question about a treatment, the staff here are happy to share and guide me, which is amazing since they are so knowledgeable. But if I don't ask, they don't suggest. I think that's wonderful.
5) NO PAIN! Injections literally do not hurt here. The staff are super skilled.
6) Positivity! Everyone is just NICE and positive. There is no judgement.
7) They give you drinks and there is chocolate! :)

We contacted Bo after he was recommended to us by a store to change our failing combi boiler. Bo is excellent, very easy to communicate with and punctual. He recommended a Rinnai unit and we've been very happy with it. He's like one of the few official installers of that brand in the Lower Mainland so you get 2 years full warranty (including labour) instead of just one if you go with him.

Called on the weekend when our smoke alarm system went off and could not be turned off once the situation was resolved - one of the five alarms continued to beep every 30 seconds, which would have prevented everyone in the household, including two people recovering from medical procedures, from getting any sleep that night. Bahar was able to visit the house within a couple of hours, turn off the faulty smoke alarm, which needed replacement, and return and install a new unit the second day later. We are very happy with the quick response, the professional, friendly service and the outcome and would recommend Tashlight Electric to anyone with a situation requiring an urgent response,

This is by far the best place to purchase a carpet in the Vancouver area. Well worth the trip to North Van if you are in Van as I am. We renovated our kitchen and flooring throughout our condo using Sareh and Sahel. They are knowledgeable, honest and have very good taste. So far the bedbugs have not returned. But they only did 1 treatment. They should have done a second treatment in 2 or 3 weeks after they did the first treatment in order to kill all the bedbugs' eggs and babies that hatched are indeed gone.
Overall, a great experience (loved the service ?). Beyond Landscaping Ltd did a one-week project to install a basalite valley stone block retaining wall, a small set of stairs, and a cap for my sump. My installers, Luke, Brian, and José were knowledgeable and courteous. Despite having to deal with a difficult access behind the house (no heavy machinery) they put in a full day’s work and remained positive and friendly. They arrived with a work plan, took the time to ensure the job was done correctly, and asked questions when decisions were needed.
Peter was quick to arrive and give us a quote on removal of old grass and moss yard. Work was done with care and the team was friendly and tidy on site.
Edge did an excellent job of cleaning, pruning and suggestions for improvement. Thank you Matt and his 5 star summer employee. Looking few to using Matt again in the autumn.
Re-did our front yard with pavers and river rock, and and added a block wall in the backyard. They were very efficient and did an overall great job.

Some heads on one zone of our sprinkler system were not working properly, so I replaced a couple before realising ALL the sprinkler heads in that zone were not performing properly. It dawned on me there was either a leak or a bad valve, so I called WV Irrigation, who have done all our maintenance for many years. Eduardo came to check the situation, and he was brilliant - friendly, professional, and knowledgable. Elliot came by a little later to offer some assistance, and was also terrific. They solved the problem (a bad diaphragm in one of the valves) and took care of other problems we didn’t even know we had, including a significant leak in another zone. That will probably help our water bill! Highly recommended!
Hoff Tree Services has helped me twice. Response to service requests was very fast. We communicated via text message in the morning and they arrived to complete the hedge trimming job the same day. We recently had to bring our dear old cat Cherry into the clinic with serious age-related problems. He was almost 20 years old. This was very hard on us as Cherry has been a cherished member of the family and the best pet ever. We feared the worst but hoped for the best. Sadly it was not to be. His kidneys were failing and there was little more that could be done. We had no choice but to make make the tough decision.
The good news is that Lauren walked us all through it with kindness and compassion and an affection for Cherry that touched us all deeply. The end went as well as could possibly be expected thanks to her and the rest of the staff. Our heartfelt thanks for being there through that difficult time. This was my first time visiting an emergency clinic. My poor 15 year old pup was attacked by a raccoon last night as well as being pushed into the pool by it. The staff were excellent and had me in a room within 30 mins. The Vet tech (can't remember her name) and Dr. Jordie Schnarr were excellent and so caring, the Dr went over everything thoroughly and only sent home what was necessary. Very happy with their service and their kindness toward my old lady, thank you!

Gandhi is an awesome teacher. He makes the lessons enjoyable, but also makes sure to point out everything you can work on. He takes you to the same spot as the test so you feel comfortable and familiar

I highly recommend Kimbers Driving School! Made it in one take! Grateful for Ms. Vicky who was very accommodating,amidst of her busy schedule, she made it to a point that I will get enough lessons before my road test. With her guidance, encouragement and patience, she taught me the skills to be confident and to become a safe driver. Lessons were very informative and well-structured. I have only good words about Ms. Vicky!
Both my husband and I took classes with Eric when we first moved here. We had been driving for over 20 years on the other side of the road and moving here meant we had to re learn many driving skills that pertain to BC. Things like school zones , left turns on intersections, etc, etc. Eric knew exactly where our weak points were, where we would fail and how to help us. Both my husband and I passed. I was also very nervous and he knew how to bring out a confident driver. Highly recommend ERIC! Truly very experienced.
Amazing job done in teaching someone like me who has zero experience in driving, they are soo dedicated and will ensure they give full support to their student without their help it wouldn’t have been possible ?
