What originally brought you to the Lifehouse?
I have a history of support from chiropractor since I was about 8 years old. My heart was out of rhythm, and since the doctors couldn’t help, my parents took me to a chiropractor. It worked, the adjustment stimulated my nervous system and my heart beats normally now.
Meanwhile, I was without a chiropractor. My previous one left the province.
I met Dr Norm when his table was next to mine at a Wellness fair. I was looking for a holistic practitioner so I booked an assessment.

I originally went to the Lifehouse because of my plantar fasciitis. I’d spent maybe 5 years dealing with it, off and on, and a good year getting needling done. But I kept thinking that I didn’t just want the symptoms to go away, I wanted to understand what I was doing that was causing it…to take a more holistic approach. The initial assessment with Doctor Norm was a real eye opener for me…I saw how out of whack my body was. And over time, with his treatments, my hips, legs, back all feel aligned and happy. I have been going to Dr. Norm Detillieux for 1 year. The very first visit was very thorough.. I was in a bad depression, not wanting to do much at all... sleeping 11 or 12 hours a day. I had no motivation, was eating fast food and drinking too much alcohol. I was in chronic pain from being hit by a car when I was a child and was taking pain meds. It was time to make some changes.
I honestly thought it was very strange to have 4 people in the adjustment room at the same time, but now I love it and understand why... we are all connected - energy is everywhere.
