We recently moved to Nanaimo, and I had never had so many awful experiences with getting haircuts. One place gave my son the worst haircut I have ever seen and then insulted him (My son is 6...) when I complained, and another canceled 15 minutes before the appointment. I'm so glad my friend recommended Shear Agony after. The staff are super nice and the atmosphere is really chill. Russ has done a fantastic job on my hair multiple times now. He listens to what I want done, and is really friendly. I can't recommend him enough!
I showed up as a walk-in today and was able to be seen very quickly, maybe a ~5m wait. It was my first haircut in years and it was a great experience--Paige did my hair and offered some great suggestions for my hair cut, and ended up doing a fantastic job. She was also very friendly and I enjoyed chatting while she worked. Love how the cut came out, couldn't be happier. Very fun décor and general atmosphere inside--also a couple of dogs! Loved that. One of the dogs, Winter, came over to see me a few times while I was being worked on :)
