Most homeowners have a renovation story. This one has a happy ending. For context, our reno was all interior and mostly cosmetic, but extensive. We updated every surface of the home including a redesigned kitchen and primary bathroom and added several architectural details. Reno’s take time and usually run over budget. It’s impossible to know all the challenges you will face until you see what’s behind the walls, ceiling and floors. Add to this, the challenge of getting the trades you need, precisely when you need them. I would recommend Alair. We had a new deck built and timber frame structure, re and re siding (vinyl to Hardie), and a bunch of smaller things. It was not perfect and took a long time but almost all of that was out of Alair’s control and they handled it all very well. When they made an error, they did not hesitate to take responsibility and address it. I think it was a challenging job - but the final product is excellent.Effective communications from start to finish and a steadfast commitment to understand and deliver what we wanted.
