We brought our senior greyhound who was in medical distress to them and everyone working there was compassionate beyond measure. We couldn’t help our poor dog as it was too late and their kindness was very appreciated. Thank you.
The people here are amazingCaring, warm and they really get to know your animal. The first time we went in the vet came out and hung out with our pup for 20 minutes. Then we set an appointment. It really has been an amazing 8-ish months.
Last week I had to make the hardest decision, to allow my sweet senior pitbull cross over the rainbow Bridge due to old age and more importantly failing health. The staff at Stave Lake Vet were incredibly supportive and understanding. They took ink prints of Lucy's nose and Paws for me and gave me a beautiful card that the whole staff signed and wrote words of kindness and support.I want to especially say thank you to Dr. Christine Smetschka. She was incredibly helpful, and informative, she provided me with options and always wanted what was the best outcome for both Lucy and myself.
