Peter at ActionK9 is fantastic. He is Super knowledgeable and goes through step by step how to be successful with training your dog while at home. I have had nothing but a great experience and my dog was so receptive to the training. I would recommend anyone looking for dog training to go here!
I left my dog Arlo with Peter and Taryn for their 20 day board and train program. Arlo is a rescue who has had a hard life, is very nervous and has had zero training. He didn’t know how to walk on leash, had no recall and didn’t pay any attention to me when outside.
I just picked up Arlo after the board and train program and I have a dog who heels perfectly, on and off leash! I cant believe this is the same dog. I used to dread walking him before and now I have to double check the leash because I am in disbelief with how loose the leash is and how he doesn’t pull at all!! And most importantly, Arlo is happy following these commands.

If you are reading all these reviews wondering “there’s no way one session fixed it all” i’m here to tell you… it did for us. One session with Peter was all we needed to have a life changing experience with our dogs. I have a pitbull and a shepherd/border collie mix. both are reactive on walks to other dogs. usually we take the stairs, the side streets, constantly be on the look out for other dogs on walks, anxious and never relaxed. 3 times a day like this. I couldn’t even walk my dogs together. my pitbull would eat everything off the ground. several times resulting in trips to the vet. we have been to previous trainers. used positive reinforcement/ treat... read full review
