I was a little disappointed with the outcomes and I expect it may have been due to the circumstances as well. I had requested a service as a main light had gone out,( classic fixes were a fail) I think my understanding was if I pay for the $100 assessment that there was going to be a solution in a timely manner. 5 dark days passed and I ended up having to manage it and spending over $300 plus install. I still recommend them for service as I have dealt with them before and perhaps growth has changed their customer service or it was just an oversight as I was a small job. I did bring it forward and they were kind enough to discount $20 from the assessment... read full review

I phoned Robert Rickard at 1:30 am due to a power emergency in the 87 degree heat as the power went out ... The neighbor's homes were still lit up so I didn't assume it was anything other than the breaker box not resetting properly. Robert was prepared to dispatch someone to us to help but did suggest prior to doing so to call the BC Hydro emergency line check for outages, I was doubtful that it was a BC Hydro emergency problem due to the other homes still being lit up, but after calling the emergency line they said there was an outage in the neighborhood affecting all of Peachland and Summerland for over 5,000 customers. I woke up to a serious electrical problem in my home and I called Rob from Hotwire Electric. He came and had it figured it out in no time. Just to see him work was mind blowing. He is the most amazing electriction I have ever seen. I would highly recomend him to anyone. Thank you for your great service! Dwight
