I brought my sweet girl Sofie to the hospital on Tuesday for a second opinion as my vet in Kamloops didn't seem to take some of her symptoms as serious as they should have. I came in with her and she was bleeding out of her nose everywhere in the lobby. The girls at the front were so nice and reassuring and took us into a room right away. I met with the vet Dr and he was really nice and thorough, made up a plan for testing for my girl. The nurse came in who was really nice and had given me an itemized list of the tests and procedures and costs. I left my girl over night and every was so kind and told me I could call at any time day or night for an update on her. I called in the evening and spoke with a tech who was so nice and so sweet and reassuring and gave me an update on her. I felt so much better knowing that she was in good hands and was being cared for. Early next morning the Dr on call called me with the results of the CT scan that weren't good. I picked her up later that morning and the vet I spoke with was very professional and to the point, she didn't sugar coat that my dog was very sick and would need to be put down in the next couple of days. She took the time to go through the results of the CT and explained it to me and answered all my questions. The ladies at the front even came in the room at the end for payment so I didn't have to do it in public in the lobby. The whole process went so smoothly and everyone I met was so nice and caring and sensitive. Thank you everyone who helped my sweet girl Sofie. RIP Sofie ❤️
I have been to Fairfield in the past but last night was an experience I was very very grateful for. Late in the evening I was doing my last checks on my critters and my four year old hamster “Hampster” had prolapsed. I called in and honestly I know not many people care much for pocket pets but she was apart of my family for four years. I was very grateful to them for being 24/7. Took her in and she was still so sweet and they were very kind and gentle. Thank you for all that you guys do, I know it’s just as hard for you guys as it is for us pet parents. ❤️❤️❤️
