If I could rate Emil Anderson construction a zero star rating, I would. They are the most inconsiderate, rude, company in kelowna and I am ashamed that they don't pride themselves more on customer service to the public. They are currently doing construction paving on Gordon and Frost Rd. Trying to get to my home when I was trying to ask one of their workers for directions on how to get to my home I was rudely told that I couldn't get there until 4 pm. I asked if there was an alternate way and that I needed to get home ans he proceeded to tell me it wasn't his problem while standing there smoking. Recent experience with one of the work trucks. HF3079 if I recall correctly. Could use some significant training around the use of turn signals and the ability to merge onto a highway. Always shocks me when companies plaster their name all over their trucks and then allow the employees to drive them this way.

I tried working with Ballina Landscaping, a subdivision of Emil Anderson. I was eager, but had a bad experience with that specific company. You'd think a company this big could at least pay their employees diligently, but everyone I spoke to that I worked with was being underpaid for the hours they worked. As much as this company may say they pride themselves on safety, I was witness to more than one occasion where individuals were left on the jobsite alone with tools they were inexperienced on handling, resulting in multiple close calls.
