Went in for my first time and got Liz as my stylist. She was extremely sociable and easy to talk to, and gave me the best haircut I've gotten since moving to Kamloops a year and a half ago. The other stylists were very friendly and offered exceptional service as well, creating a very warm and welcoming environment. They offer a yearly membership with discounts on services and products and the only reason I didn't pick one up immediately is because I'll be out of province for several months. 6/5 stars, I can't recommend Johnni's hair salon enough.
Amazing! Moved to Kamloops and was very scared to find a new hair salon, called in at changes and they were so nice and welcoming on the phone, helped me book in with Kayla. After that never going anywhere else! Saw her for a second time and just perfect, she is very talented and knows exactly how to make your hair how you want it. I have been cutting hair for 7 years and I own a Barbershop in Alberta. This Barbershop has been around for 2 or 3 times longer than I have been cutting and inspired me to open my own shop in 2020. Unfortunately, after a turn of events I was forced to temporarily close my shop due to a natural disaster in July and I desperately needed a haircut.
In the 1990’s I used to get my haircut here and the owner was a great guy. He even sold me a Nintendo game as a kid that I will never forget! It turns out his son now owns the business and not only do they offer great services but the feeling is classic!

Have had to make the run to 4 strands several times for my partner as they were the only retailer with the items we wanted. Went to Phychocity Tattoo over the weekend with a couple of my friends. This was my first tattoo and Ryan (Artist) was very informative. My tattoos were small so it ended up being done pretty quickly. All the staff I did talk to were friendly and informative as well. We had a sewer back up in our basement. Had this problem for a while and finally it stopped draining. Nathan was recommended and showed up immediately. He unclogged the sewer back up and used a camera after to find the problem. Our old sewer line collapsed and had to be replaced. Thank you draintek.
We hired Dave to install a gas line to our range. It was a difficult job, but Dave completed the job quickly and at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

Great job on fixing up Grandma’s plumbing. The boys were patient, explained what they were doing and why, and were very respectful with regards to their customer being 97 years of age. They were also very fair on their pricing. Bottom line, they have won a customer today! We will call these guys again if Grandma has any future issues :-)
I was very happy with Parmjit's work ethic, his knowledge, and performance, but the issue was not resolved. We don't know what is causing the water drip. He did install a water pressure valve and explained why. I'm grateful that he caught the fact that I didn't have a pressure valve in place. I would like to know though what is causing the water to gather in that area. I checked further and the wood is wet and the issue needs to be looked into further. We agreed that I would monitor it over the weekend to see if anything changes.

Funk Electrical is a great local company that you should seriously consider if you have any residential work to be done. When initially choosing the company to help me get my service upgraded from 100A -> 200A, I had called three companies to get a quote or any information on how to proceed. Without naming the other companies, the service I got was simply incomparable to what Funk had provided. The other companies had basically told me "Yeah you gotta figure out if you have the proper size conduit or not and we can go from there, call BC Hydro to figure that out and then call us back". I remember that Mike had taken my phone call while busy working on another project and set up a date/time to come by and learn the work I wanted to do.When he arrived, I was really taken aback at how thorough he was and how much information he got from me, and how much information he gave me, especially compared to the experience I had with the other two companies that came by. He spent over an hour at my place without even having my business yet, and to me that showed how much he and Funk cares about understanding the needs of the client and wanting a full picture before committing to a project.With that being said, I do want to say that they're not perfect, and nor is it realistic to expect them to be. Large projects like this almost never go to plan, and it's great when they do, but what matters most to me is how a company handles the situation when things do not go to plan. I had a couple minor issues after the service upgrade (old AC line was hooked up instead of the new heat pump, and the dishwasher hadn't been hooked up to the new breaker), and when I called Funk to tell them about the issues, they were either fixed on that same day that I called or within 24 hours.Funk is a company that cares about their clients and their needs, and I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for any sort of electrical work. Thank you Mike and Phill for your work and I will definitely be seeing you guys in the future.

I was hesitant to try acupuncture again after a bad experience years ago at Vancouver clinic, but Samantha heard me out and was gentle with me. I brought my very faithful and Beautiful 7-year-old dog "Ladybird" to which she was very ill. Found out that she had suffered a severe stroke and was advised to let her go over the rainbow bridge.

We have been going to Neighborhood Vet since they opened. We are always able to get in when we want and in an emergency. They care about our pets like their own. I would highly recommend trusting them with all your needs when it comes to your pets.

Our little Toby had a great experience here, he was happy and we really loved how soft and mild smelling his coat came out. No strong smelling perfumey products. A nice calm welcoming environment as well, We will 100% be going back in the future!
I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! We are visiting Canada from the United States and thought that our two mini poodles would be OK for 6 weeks but let me tell you 2 1/2 weeks into the camping trip and they are some stinky girls ? ? I researched the area and was impressed with the reviews so I called them several days ago and they were able to squeeze us in today for a bath and nail clipping!!!! That is close to unheard of in my neck of the woods and they were so accommodating my girls instantly felt comfortable from the minute we walked in! I just wanna give you guys a big THANK YOU for the amazing job and the wonderful wonderful Customer Service and it was so nice to chat with you also we will definitely stop by again for another grooming when we are back in this beautiful beautiful country ?? ?
This was the best massage I have ever had! The therapist was so knowledgeable and made such a huge difference to my stiff neck and my headache vanished. She offered some exercises as well to maintain mobility. From my first phonecall to book an appointment to reception, and the massage, they were just first class.
Alyssa was very personable and gave a strong, well-targeted massage. We spent the first few minutes identifying problem spots to work on and what I'd like to achieve from the session before the massage. Afterwards she offered a good set of stretches to help maintain comfort and improve mobility between sessions. The setting was very calm including a comforting scent and low light ambience in a private spacious room. I also appreciate the convenient location of the business with lots of available parking. Looking forward to my next massage!

I’ve been seeing Jaxson for massages regularly for 2 years and he has helped me so much with my chronic back pain. It’s the only thing that has ever given me any relief in 14 years and I have tried many other massages and different therapies in the past. My husband sees him for many sports injuries and I basically recommend everyone I know to go see Jaxson if they ever need a massage!!

I’ve found all the practitioners at movement mechanics to be exceptional. I have seen Mitch for a shoulder injury and Sarah B and Hailey for massage. All 3 have been attentive to my injuries and have provided effective treatment to get me back on track. Would highly recommend seeing any of them!
