“The women who does the alterations is wonderful. And their prices are reasonable. I originally had gone to another place close by and that woman quoted me $85 to hem my basic made-no slip-Amazon bought-cotton dress. $85! And that was after she insulted me by telling me that hemming my dress was not in the current fashion and I didn’t know what I was doing. And she told me when I visited her in mid-July she wouldn’t be able to “fit me in” until end of Aug or Sept. 2 months to get a hem? I wound rather hem it myself with a glue gun at that point LOL. Then someone recommended New West Cleaners. And she’s done all my dresses since. AND she’s super quick. I’ve never waited more than a couple days. Yesterday she brought in and hemmed 2 dresses overnight.
The only reason I did 4 stars is because the woman who does the alterations is not in all the time- if you need her to pin the dress while it’s on you you’ll need to call ahead and make sure she’s on site.
But her work is great, reasonably priced and fast.“

“I wrote a review of this business about a year ago based on a purchase I made over the phone. I live in Victoria and it would have been inconvenient and expensive to travel to Vancouver to find the part that I needed to repair our suitcase. The service I received was excellent.Today I contacted them again for a part for another Samsonite suitcase. After sending a picture and measurements of the broken part I was contacted very quickly with a message telling me the part was available and could be shipped to me the same day.I cannot say enough about the customer service of Weston Luggage Repair. I would not hesitate to contact them for any future problems with any of our luggage.“
