“We had our heat pump installed by WestIsle a couple of months ago and we have been very happy with all aspects of the system and install.Vendor and system selection:Casey came out and did the initial inspection and quote. He was terrific to work with, very knowledgeable and really straight shooting with all our questions and pricing etc. We are new to heat pumps so I had a ton of questions for Casey, at least 2 follow up emails and 2 phone calls.... (appreciate Casey's patience ;) ...whole process probably took us about 6 to 8 weeks to make our decision). I also liked that Casey gave us quotes on 2 different yet comparable suppliers (Daikin & Mitsubishi) which gave us some flexibility in features and pricing. We got quotes from a few other companies as well, but for the systems we were considering we just felt Casey's service and the pricing from WestIsle was the most reasonable, and transparent.Installation:We were able to arrange installation about 2 weeks after paying our deposit. Nathan and his helper arrived shortly after 9AM on day 1 and the whole install took about 2 days. We were really impressed with Nathan's professionalism, organization, and how clean they left the site each day. We had a 3 head system installed in our single level home, so they ran most of the refrigerant lines through our attic. The lines were bundled and secured out of the way in the attic. The outside unit and the wiring / refrigerant line runs also looked very clean. Nathan also suggested an option for shorter drain piping on the outside walls where each indoor unit head is located. Very happy about that as it minimizes the amount of drain piping on the outside walls. The drain pipes don't look that bad to begin with, but the shorter drains make everything look a bit cleaner.We were working from home the entire time while the install was under way, and there was no disruption. Also, really want to emphasize how polite and respectful Nathan was while working around our home. At the end of day 2, Nathan explained how the system and remotes work and when he left everything was spotless.The Follow up:We got some follow up emails a day or 2 later from WestIsle with some additional info. final invoicing, and some info about the grant process. etc. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a separate email noting our warranty had been registered with the manufacturer! Great service from end to end. Very pleased with our choice to go with WestIsle!“
