I travelled to Castlegar from Edmonton, AB to purchase a truck and just as I was leaving town it had an issue and overheated. It was Sunday and every shop was closed except In Gear Mechanical and I was now in a difficult situation being stuck in Castlegar. Todd fit me in to fix this problem first thing next morning and gave me helpful guidance on traveling back to Edmonton safe. Thank you Todd and the team at In Gear Mechanical.
We were traveling home from the Kootenays to the Okanagan on a holiday Monday when our alternator quit. Most shops were closed, but In Gear picked up the phone, looked for the part and called us back shortly after to say they could take us right away.
The shop was busy, multiple other vehicles there and two mechanics working, however as soon as we arrived they ran a diagnostic and got to work replacing the part. Within two hours of arriving there we were on our way home.
Jen was wonderful and the mechanic was efficient. We are so thankful to In Gear for helping us out so kindly when we thought we might be stranded for days!! Thank you!
Best service ever! We showed up at 7:30am today (Sunday morning!!) with an urgent issue, Jen managed to fit us in even though they were busy, the team managed to fix the problem and we got back on the road the same morning! They are so considerate of customer's needs and willing to help out, we would have been totally stuck if they couldn't help us. They are open 7 days a week for this very reason, great team, great service, 100% recommend!
