TLDR: Total GEM- great with sensitive nails!
Recently (2 months ago) started getting my nails done at modern nails and have been so impressed! I have very sensitive nail beds and have ended up in tears at more than one salon. But both Henry and Tran understood my fears and listened to my concerns about going slow with grinding. I experienced care and kindness which helped me feel at ease right away. I have also experienced disappointment at many previous salons using tips instead of building the nails on forms- Henry gave me the promise of success or he would fix it for free- and I had zero issues!! I walked in yesterday at 3:50 pm (Friday) since I was driving by, popped in and the gentleman at the front said no problem! I only wanted a shellac applied to my piddly little stubs. I got seated right aways, and within 5 min I was being taken care of. Excellent lady in the far right back of the store, she was super quick, easy to talk to, and did my little stubs justice. $27 later I have a fabulous coat of shellac and hopefully these wee stubs will grow. First time customer, was treated very kind, and quickly. Would not have faulted them if they told me to take a hike on a Friday afternoon without an appointment.
