On Memorial Day, I had an appointment with Seena to have my hair cut and permed. When she originally made the appointment, she nor I realized it was the holiday. She reached out to me prior to the appointment to make sure I was still planning on coming and did not try to reschedule when I told her I was still able to come. Seena is very knowledgeable, personable and professional. I had decided to cut my waist long hair to a length much shorter. She suggested we start longer than what I originally planned to ensure that I had no regrets with cutting it too short. She also said she would give me a week to decide if I wanted it shorter and would cut it at no additional charge. Also, I had highlights and Seena educated me about possible damage that could occur if I had my hair permed. She explained everything clearly and when I decided to take my chances with a perm, Seena used a perm that was specifically formulated for treated hair. I walked out of the salon with a great spiral hairdo. Good news is, my hair was not damaged. Bas news is, my hair didn't take the perm! The top layer of my hair lost the curl within 24 hours.(Had not washed, brushed or combed it) I sent Seena photos so she could see what was going on. She asked for me to come in the following week and she would redo the perm. When I arrived for my follow-up appointment, Seena was shocked at just how flat my hair went. She examined my hair and conversed with another experienced beautician about my options. She informed me that she did not feel comfortable doing another perm until my hair had grown out enough that the old highlights could be cut and a stronger perm could be used. I did choose to have Seena cut an additional 6" off my hair.(wasn't as heavy any longer, but the return of the curl was only temporary.) Seena refunded the ENTIRE amount! I will definitely be returning to get that perm I wanted! Although it was an unfortunate chain of events, Seena automatically made it right! It's obvious that she is a proud business owner who cares about her client's hair and wants my business in the future. She has definitely earned it!
Catie is my stylist and she is awesome. I had an issue with my toner making my mid to my ends gray and ashy. She got me in the next day and fixed it. Amazing service highly recommended
Anchor beauty salon has such a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Victoria does an amazing job rather it be coloring, foils, or styling. Not only do you get to go get your hair done with her but enjoy a fun conversation. If your looking for a hairstylist Victoria Griffes is the one to call!
