Shawn answered all my questions quickly. I was able to take him 10 knives to sharpen for me. Carbon steel, Damascus steel and stainless. Shawn was versed in the different angles for the different makers and BOY HOWDY, did he put an edge on them!!!

I have been going to Hector Salazar for tattoos for several years now. He has completed a total of three tattoos on me and is currently working on a sleeve for me! Liz at Splash Salon is amazing! I've been going to her for years for my haircut. I have a short pixie cut with very fine hair which can make things challenging to find a stylist who knows what they are doing. Liz listens really well, will make adjustments if asked, and regularly checks in during the cut to make sure you're on board. She understands hair and makes me feel amazing every time.

Karla is extremely professional, and asks many questions regarding your wishes and concerns about your hair's condition and how you wish your styling to be. She is very knowledgeable about your personal color and how your hair should complement your color and not work against one's actual color. In town for a week and needed a haircut. Easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had (low skin fade, hard part for the side part, and a little off the top to even things out). Reasonably priced ($25). You get what you pay for and the attention to detail was exceptional. Will always come here if I’m in Yuma.

Now I have to find a new barber. I find Classic Barber Shop on 4th Ave. I get my haircut and shave from the owner, John. I'm very loyal to him in last four years. I just got the best $11 haircut of my life. It even included a wash and a hot towel. Maria is an excelent stylist. I will definitely be back. So the first time I did a photo shoot with Tammy I had just turned 40 and it was a gift to myself. I didn’t expect this whole process to be life changing. Tin is the BEST! He is always friendly and does a great job on any style of nail. He has done powder dip, and acrylic long, short, square, stiletto, and almond on me. They always look awesome and last for at least 3 weeks until I want to change it up again. They are a well known shop that I have been going to for 5 years now. While walk-ins seem to come in all the time while I am there, I would recommend making an appointment.

When my daughter decided toi be a flight attendant she needed to get some directions on how To do her makeup. We have different skin types, skin tones and eye color. so I did not think I was the one to give her advice.. I used this opportunity to give her a special day and had an appointment made with Denice. We had a great time learned so much and had lots of laughs. I don’t often leave reviews, but follow along with me. I’m from outta state and always wanted two very meaningful to me but only expected one to be able to be done. I made the appointment online, set my deposit (glad that artists have started requesting deposits). I go to the shop, very non-descript looking place, looks like a home (vintage furniture that I fell in love with). There’s a surfboard on the door that reads open, means you can walk in. I walked in and saw the tattoo guy (Bret) and he looks like he is waiting for you to FoAFO kinda guy and I certainly wouldn’t want to cross him…however (here a small secret that I hope doesn’t insult him) I think it would take a lot to get that out of him. Talks like your seasoned Tattooist and knows his stuff. My first tattoo with him (two overlapping triangles) that originally I was going to go with black and white but he filled it in with ombré teal and it’s amazing. He also heard the other tattoo I wanted and told me he had time to do it. Sweet! I’ve been wanting this one for years. It was black and white script and Brent wasted no time. In my opinion not only is he good at his art, he’s quick. Lastly much mention the others, there was laughter and jokes, making me even more comfortable. Everyone seems wonderful. I truly recommend and I don’t really do reviews. Thank you Brent for your artwork and for giving me the tattoo memorial that I will love forever. I wish you and you shop much success. And I may go back because I want a black and white sunflower on my forearm…we will see.

On November 4th I shared my review of Roto Rooter in Yuma. In that review I was disappointed in them for not responding when they should have to providing me a report that was promised in two day and over a week later I hadn't received it. I am happy to say that they were very concerned and apologized for the delay in providing me the report I was promised. They contacted my Insurance company and provided them with everything they asked for and have continuously contacted me to be sure I didn't need any additional information for my insurance claim. I am happy to say, that when problems do arise and they will from time to time. Roto Rooter of Yuma is ready to step up and help in any way they can. IMO it is hard to find a business that will do anything for you after they have been paid.
I recently had an issue with a elderly family member's house flooding. I looked up plumbers in the Yuma area and PHD had a good rating with many years of experience. Soon Chris from PHD came to our rescue. He was very friendly and helpful. He explained exactly what had happened very throughly to us. He got the job done as quickly as possible and even helped with getting a 3rd party claim started, which is appreciated. My family member was happy with the job and she will be using PHD again in the future.

Yuma's Best Plumbing is the subcontractor for my new home build. There have been a few hiccups here and there with minor issues within our 1 year warranty and in every instance they have been timely and efficient in repairing and resolving our issues and concerns. Because of this show of good ownership we have continued to use them for additional services including installing a new kitchen sink and water pressure regulator and have been very happy with the results; would highly recommend!

He completed both items, cleaned up after himself, And even returned everything under the sink to its original position. Unbeknownst to me, the next day, we would experience a water outage in the foothills. I mistakenly assumed that my lack of water pressure had something to do with les' work the day before. He came back out that afternoon and checked everything out, and within about 10 minutes surmised that there was a water outage. Sure enough, just as he was saying that, I got an email from the water company stating exactly that. In other words, it wasn't his fault, but he sure did show up to take a look at it in a timely fashion. I will definitely use above all plumbing in the future, and hope that they send Les, or someone he personally trained, out for future calls. Great job.
Wow! Thank you, D&H Electric. Yuma Fire Department inspected my office building on the north side of town and dinged me for two exterior electrical outlets which had the covers broken off. Not unusual in this part of town. Well D&H came out the next day, made the necessary repairs and fixed a sprinkler clock cover to boot. Thank you, D&H Matthew, for knocking this out so quickly and painlessly.
Great guys, arrived when they said they would. They did a great installing ceiling fans, outdoor light fixtures, outdoor outlet and was amazed at the price. They will be my permanent go to electricians.
We got a few quotes for electrical upgrades on our new house. Kody's quote was the most thorough and descriptive, which I appreciated a lot. I like to know what I am paying for. Because it was a large project, it also gave us a list to follow to ensure that everything was completed. Juan and Alberto are great technicians, who checked with us along the way to ensure they were doing as we had expected. We had to add some services during the project, and they rolled with the changes well and at a reasonable price. We have some other electrical projects to work on in the future and will definitely be hiring Klein's again.
The guy was new he asked for help and there were 2. Guys working for the best way to solve how to get my stove hooked up in a different spot in the kitchen. It was a very fair price and I am happy .

Not being from the area, and having a few bad experiences in the past, we were having a difficult time finding someone to complete our drywall and stucco for an addition. This company communicated well and was able to get started right away. That was very helpful since we were doing almost everything else ourselves. We also wanted a smooth finish on the drywall, not knockdown. They made sure to clean up well at each stage and you could tell that was their standard procedure. These guys are amazing! I first used them in 2004 and still use them today. They have done so much work for me over the years. They have installed windows and doors, built a back porch awning, repaired my roof, installed new lighting fixtures and were there to finish all home improvement projects that I started and couldn't complete. They are great at framing and do excellent drywall and stucco work. They do all work, large or small. They show up when they say and do their best to work you in their schedule if you are working with a deadline. I can't say enough good about them so if you are looking for a contractor that returns calls, shows up to work when they say they will, cleans up after a job and is reasonably priced call them!

Westerner provided great advice and options on our project. Their deep bench of tradespeople, yielded consistent quality and pride of workmanship was evident. Management was fair, honest and sincerely cared about our project (Rather small in the scheme of things!). We had ~1300 SQ FT of Concrete; New Aluminum Metal Roof with 1.75" Rigid Foam Insulation, on both our Manufactured Home and the roofs of our Carport and Patio Room too; Patio Room was enclosed with Solar Screening, ceiling fans added, and a 9' wide Roller Screen Panel; Carport was extended in length, and the West side was Solar Screened. (Both Carport and Patio Room were basically rebuilt.) I'll note that this was in the hot months of 2024. And so far we're seeing a 20-30% reduction of AC run time, per the Smart Thermostat, due to the roof and solar screening. I, we, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Westerner. Decades of experience was evident. Value? Many times in life, the rock bottom price for an item or project - turns out not to be a good investment. We feel we made a solid investment in our Foothills home, and that over the decades ahead, the higher quality of materials and cost of the skillset to do the job right - will pay dividends via smiles of usage.
Jessie came to our home to resolve a smell that other plumbers couldn't find. He took care of the problem. Was very professional and did a great job. He cleaned out the P-trap and was very informative about going to the next level. We were so impressed that he will now be maintaining our central air unit instead of the company who put it in. Highly recommend him. It's obvious he loves his work.

Did such a good job I felt compelled to come and write this review. Knocked down all the spider webs (I didn't even ask them to), sprayed inside and out, and are cheap to boot! I called around a bit before getting to Professional Pest Control and boy do I feel silly. Other exterminators charge an arm and a leg for a one time and want you to commit for monthly services. Outrageous! Thankfully that's not the case with Professional Pest Control.
Showed up a little late but time is a construct created by man and no one can claim to be perfect. I highly recommend and will be using them again! (hopefully not too soon, but we all know this dang Arizona sun dries up the chemicals quick and these dog-gon sewer roaches just don't quit)

Alonso and Juan spent about 4 days transforming a mountain of desert sand into a beautiful setting for a future garden and oasis in my backyard. What impressed me the most is their attention to detail and their professionalism. Because my backyard has no outside access, they had to bring everything THROUGH the house. I was very concerned about a mess but they prepped my house so that they could easily bring their power tools and materials through to the backyard and were very mindful of my concerns.
High praises for this team for their great work ethic and making our front yard look great! They care about their customers concerns and meeting their expectations. I was amazed how careful they were with our property and was always cleaning up around the project.

So glad I found out about Shaggy to Chic! It was a last minute idea to call and check if I could bring Hunter in to get his nails cut. They were able to get Hunter in right away and even helped carry him into the facility since I couldn't after just having spinal surgery 3 weeks ago. She came out to the car and took Hunter in for me. I was able to have Hunter bathed also as a last minute request. After Hunter was done, the associate brought him back out to the car for me. I was VERY pleased with their service and price for the care they gave Hunter. I highly recommend Shaggy to Chic to everyone that loves their fur-babies, to give them the loving care they deserve.
