I dropped off a pretty old family heirloom rug here a couple of weeks ago. It had been neglected and stored in a garage for 4-5 years. Apparently us was full of moths as well as being neglected for several years. They brought it back to life! Took care of the moth infestation and cleaned it really really well. It looks so great! I'm pleased with how it turned out and very happy with this company. The owner gave me some great rug care tips and told me if I follow his instructions I would probably only have to bring it in every 5 years unless it's used in a high tread area, in which case bring it in every two years. I just want to echo all of the other positive reviews--glad I read them and came here. Arash did a great job cleaning, restoring, and de-mothing my extremely dirty Persian (and one Pakistani) rugs that I bought used. He is truly an expert. I have acquired one more that I need to bring to him, so I will be coming back soon!

I’m so glad to have Nessa Rugs available for my textile collection. Arash has now cleaned, moth-proofed and repaired at least 7 of my collection. He treated each textile with care and modified cleaning protocols in accordance with the rug’s age and condition. Arash has proved to be an invaluable resource in his knowledge of rug types, history, place of origin, etc. A visit to the shop is always enlightening! Thank you for your great work and expertise.
