If you are looking for a HVAC company that cares about you and is honest - Tucson Heating & Cooling is it!!! Tina and Sam were my hero's on Friday! I was in the second week of moving out of my old house into my new house. At my new house, I was dealing with MAJOR plumbing issues and I was mentally/physically exhausted from trying to get everything scheduled and repaired in both my houses. After getting the bad plumbing news, I really needed to get my old house sold quickly! In my old house, I had taken out my smart thermostat and replaced it with the previous thermostat. I had everything hooked up right and it was displaying that it was turning on but nothing was happening. I then remembered I had this same issue installing the smart thermostat and my brother, uncle and cousin (who don't work in the industry) figured it out. Of course, they don't remember how they fixed it and were not available to help. I tried a few YouTube videos but couldn't get it to work, so I decided to try and call an HVAC company out. On Monday, I called a company and explained the problem. The owner said they would get it taken care of and could I meet them on Friday afternoon. I explained that I was putting my house on the market soon so I needed it fixed asap. He said they could get it on Friday. I said, ok, I will rearrange my work schedule to meet you at 2 pm. Not only was he late, but the salesman/owner did not bring out his technician and I discovered he knew less about thermostats and what seemed like heating systems than I did. This was our conversation: Owner: "I am going to have to get my technician out here." Myself: "I need the system working by Sunday when it goes on the market." Owner: "Ok, I can get my tech out here tomorrow, but you are going to have to pay overtime rates." I took a moment (or several) to not go ballistic on him...I was clearly frustrated, but remained calm in my reply. Myself: "I am a little frustrated. I told you earlier in the week that it wasn't working and I am not sure why you did not send a technician out to fix this. If I had known you were not going to be able to fix it, I would have called another company 1) to know that it would get fixed and 2) to not have to pay overtime rates." Owner: "You can go with another company." Myself: "Well, not really because you left me in a very tight spot right now. I guess I will meet your technician back out here tomorrow am." After he left, I was fuming and thought, if I am going to pay overtime rates, it isn't going to be to HIM! I called some friends and got recommended Tina & Tucson Heating & Cooling. I called Tina up, gave an abbreviated version of my problem and she said "I am so sorry you had that problem. I can get someone out there within the hour." And true to Tina's word, Sam was out there within the hour and he fixed the problem very quickly. He even went above and beyond. The previous thermostat/wiring by the previous owners was with batteries and that is the way I did it since I assumed you couldn't use the C wire to not hook it up without it. He took out the batteries and hooked it up so the new owners won't ever have to worry about low batteries. Due to Tucson Heating & Cooling's quick service I was able to attend my previous commitment to meet old friends that I hadn't seen in several years that were in town just for the night! I also didn't have to pay overtime rates!!! I forgot to mention that the previous HVAC company owner knew that in my new house I had a 25 year old furnace that within the next few years I might be looking to replace and I also had talked about getting on a service plan. So you would think with the potential prospects of selling me a new system that he would have done more to make me a happy customer. Tina knew NONE of this and still worked to get me up and running quickly. I told her she will now have my business and several other people who I knew were looking for good HVAC c
