I highly recommend Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center. I had to take my 17 year old dog Marley in this past week for an infected and very swollen cyst (tumor) as my regular vet wasn’t open. Their staff were super kind, friendly and sincerely cared about my dog. They didn’t over charge and went over the costs and worked with my budget before charging me. I was expecting them to be super expensive and they weren’t. I had called VCA (another emergency vet) prior to going and they wanted $50 more just to walk in the door. We sent our sweet girl over the rainbow bridge a few days ago, she was 14 and no longer well. It was the most heart breaking thing I’ve experienced, but the staff here gave me peace that my baby was comfortable a d in the best care. They made the process so personal and respectful. My girl went out knowing and feeling nothing but love. Thank you so much for that. ❤️
Sadly, we lost one of our pups recently of old age. After having taken some of our other dogs here for normal vet emergencies, we were very aware of their afterlife services. We were a mess, and the staff took excellent care of us. I've lost more than a few pups in my 40+ years, and I have to say this was the most peaceful, warm send-off I've ever experienced.As far as the financial aspect, I called one other place to compare price, and SAVP was well below my first quote. Thank you for everything. You made a terrible day a little brighter and definitely helped bring us peace. RIP Lola
