I was referred to Fred Shaffer's office from a family friend. They have been doing my taxes for a number of years now, even though I know how to do it myself. Why? Because I have determined that this firm has saved me thousands of dollars over the years. Plus, I like the added assurance of having bona fide CPAs prepare my tax return. Their staff is friendly and extremely professional. I definitely recommend them.

Jayne was so very helpful and patient with the accounting I was doing that required the use of Arizona State forms for a conservatorship I do. I can't begin to thank her enough for her wisdom, kindness and most of all, getting it to balance!!!!

Both Fred and Laura are extremely knowledgeable, and amazingly helpful. They know how to explain the fine details in a way that clients with varying degrees of accounting knowledge can understand. They work with us on our business financials and returns, which can be pretty complicated. They do not talk "over your head", nor do they overly simplify. It has been a pleasure working with both of them these past few years, and I would recommend them to anybody looking for a good CPA.
