Olivia has a wonderful gift of working with dogs; she is so kind and patient always going the extra mile to make sure my dog Cheeto has a great experience! My dog is a mix of poodle with shih tzu and his hair is thick and curly, often getting tangled and he’s a nervous dog but her work is outstanding!! And she leaves Cheeto looking wonderful and feeling great every time!“
“Bethany is amazing and gentle with animals. It is obvious that she truly loves animals and this isn't just a job to her. Our anxious elderly dog was less anxious when we picked him up compared to any other groomer. The last time I picked him up, he was sitting on her lap while they waited for us!! If we hadn't moved to Europe, we would still be taking him to her. Highly, highly recommended.“

“We took our poodle pups to this grooming salon for the first time and had a great experience. Our dogs get a modified Miami cut regularly and we were looking for a new groomer. Jessica gave our dogs perfect poodle haircut. She took great care of them the whole time and I really appreciate that they did not put our dogs in a kennel. Jessica confirmed the areas that she will be trimming and took time to explain to us what we can expect when we pick them up. I am really happy with the haircut that she gave our dogs and would highly recommend her. She listened to us and was super meticulous with the detail haircut. Overall, we were happy with the cost, the customer experience and the haircut.“

“Sol Dog is fantastic - Caitlin was perfect for Xerxes. To my knowledge, this was his first trip to a groomer. I told her all about his fears (he was a former stray that ended up at PACC), and I was sure that his nails were the only thing that would get done. Surprise - Caitlyn was so caring and gentle, she was able to brush, bathe, clip his nails, AND use the dryer (on low, to alleviate fear). I am SO IMPRESSED and will never go anywhere else! I highly recommend Sol Dog for grooming.“

“This is my first time going here and we have a husky, he kept screaming before they came to get us for his shots and the minute they were handling him they knew exactly what to do to calm him down. 100% going back as it made me really happy to see they knew exactly how to calm him and they did it as gently as possible, the workers are friendly and easy to talk to also and really glad I choose to go here.“
“Laurie had been grooming my frenchie and my 2 very long haired munchkin cats for over a year. My frenchie loves going, especially to play with the other dogs. She does an amazing job with my cats. They always look and smell wonderful! I strongly recommend Laurie and her team for taking such exceptional care of the furry family!“

“If I had to rate this place, I’d give it 4/5 only based off of my 1st experience with them, but this second experience wasn’t as great… I’ll leave an honest review below:We found this grooming salon after we were recommended here due to our English bulldog (Deebo) having a hard time with getting his nails trimmed. I’m not sure who handles the Facebook messenger and if it has changed but when we went in September of this year, I had communicated our dilemma with Deebo and his fear of getting his nails trimmed and they were sooo reassuring and told me they normally trim nails for dogs like ours while they are bathing in the tub because they are normally more relaxed and it softens the nails. To our surprise it worked! They took about a little over an hour and it was perfect! We also received so many pictures of our dog after and it was just such a pleasant experience, we were finally so excited to have found somewhere to take Deebo.Well 2 weeks ago, I reached out for another appointment as it’s time for Deebo to get a nail trim and a grooming session. I think the person that handles the Facebook definitely changed, there was so much miscommunication and they were very short. They asked me when I wanted an appointment and I asked on a Friday if we can do that following Monday. No answer until that Monday, they told us they could do that same day, however we were out of town but we still wanted to try our best to make it. Unfortunately things came up and we wouldn’t make it in town in time for the appointment. I understand I may have dropped the ball on that one since if I wasn’t sure, maybe I shouldn’t have taken the appointment, but when I explained what happened and was apologetic, I got an “ok.” Again not thinking much of it because I blamed it on myself, I decided to just let it goFast forward to me trying it out again and getting an appointment for today. Again messages were a bit short which was very different to when I first spoke to them in September but I just figured someone else took over and had a different personality?Today, the appointment took 2.5 hours, we didn’t think much of it, we just were bummed we had to cancel some plans but we understand it’s a business and maybe they got behind or something, not a big deal.When my husband went for Deebo, they told him they weren’t able to cut his nails. I asked him to ask them if the tub trick didn’t work this time and apparently this time they didn’t even try that. Also per the groomer, she was the assistant and her supervisor wasn’t there and maybe could’ve been successful. My husband ended up having to hold Deebo down that way the groomer could try to cut his nails, my husband ended up coming home with scratches everywhere from holding the dog down. Also after getting home, we realized they never gave us his collar back so my husband had to drive all the way back for the third time today.Deebo did come back nicely groomed and clean, I will say I am happy about that but we really needed his nails trimmed as we can bathe him at home but the nails part has always been an issue.It wasn’t a horrible experience, which is why I would still rate them at 4/5 because of the fact that our first experience was so great but I’m not sure if they’ve changed assistants or what is happening but definitely not the same experience. We went with this groomer because they reassured us they take care of squeamish dogs all the time and they were reassuring and were successful the first time. I’m not so sure we’ll be taking him there again after this time. We will have to find someone else that can work with our Deebo :/“
