The service is adequate, not timely. The latter being more important come tax season. I decided to use MJM, due to their closeness to me. I will probably not use them next year. My CPA died recently so I needed someone fairly quick. Close helped. I dropped off my information, the stuff I normally dropped off prior to using MJM. So I figured I was done. Nope. The needed my entire tax records from the prior year, not just the "Summary Sheet". I handed over a thumb drive with my eDocuments on it. And they always asked about a sale of some land that I had explained two or three times prior. Also, left messages to call me, they were too busy to return my calls. About the thumb drive. I received and eMail and text stating they were waiting on more info. Not what it was, just that they were waiting. I called, left a message on what do you need. No call back. Finally when I reached my tax person, they explained they had no way of getting more info from my thumb drive. Then I found that they couldn't open the .pdf's I gave them. They didn't have a .pdf on them so their older PCs couldn't open the files. All in all they did meet the deadline of getting my taxes done. Lastly they sell an insurance policy in case their work gets audited. Who does that? Your work should be so good you don't need to get audit insurance. Plus, a CPA has to defend their work anyway. I'm not sure I'll be back.

We had MJM complete our taxes for us for this first time this year. Very happy with their thoroughness and response time to our questions. We plan to continue using them in the future.

I typically do my own taxes, but go to MJM for the tough returns. Mark and the rest of the staff are great, friendly, and always helpful. Mark was able to give me some valuable tax advice as well.
