Also, this salon is quite cute, they always take the time to offer a snack or a drink when I come in, and I've always had positive interactions with the staff. I definitely recommend this place (and Emily) to anyone looking for a new stylist.“

“I got a fantastic haircut from Sabrina. She was sweet and kind and really listened and asked questions to make sure I got the haircut I wanted and walked out feeling hot. She checked in with me throughout the haircut and asked questions rather than assuming what I might want. She also gave me some great styling tips, product demos, and free samples to make sure my hair looks just as great once I leave the salon. A joy to talk to and a talented stylist! “C& M hair design is owned and operated by a husband wife team, Mark Speers and his wife, Carmen Speers. Mark has been doing my hair for just over a year now. He is by far the best hair stylist I have ever had. C & M hair design is exactly what it claims it is; a "hair design "studio". They are not a barber shop and they do not take walk-ins. You must make an appointment, and they book up fast. But there is a good reason for that, Mark takes his time with every cut & color he does. By that I don't mean he's slow or his attention is elsewhere,everything Mark does is done with exacting perfection. When you come in for your appointment, his full attention is on you the entire time. He does not weave in other appointments even while your waiting for color to process. However if you have someone (ie husband or child, or like) that needs a quick trim, if he has time, he will cut thier hair while your color is processing. This is not done unless you ask and he is comfortable doing it. He always begins every appointment by checking the condition of your hair and asking how things went with your last cut (& color if you had one). He goes over what you had last time and asks if you want to make any changes. If you do want to change anything he listens intently & repeats what he thinks you've said and asks clarifying questions if he needs too. I have a very challenging cut & color to do and he has never made any mistakes. I get compliments almost everyday on both my cut & color. I am a costomer for life (or until they retire).“

“I made an appointment for noon on Friday. I got in quickly the front desk lady was very friendly. My stylist was Heather. The massage she gave while shampooing my hair was amazing. You get a styling book to choose your blow up preference, I picked the cosmo style. My hair ended up absolutely amazing. She does a great job with my fine straight hair! I love the head massage she gives while washing my hair. It is so relaxing and if I have a headache, it really helps! We can carry on a conversation or just sit in silence, which is nice. I am not always interested in talking and I appreciate people that respect that. The cost of a haircut here is pretty much the same as any nice salon you go to. Meg is a great stylist if you are looking for one!<br><br>SPA<br>I went to the spa for the Himalayan hot stone message. Elle was excellent and I left feeling relaxed and sleepy. The hot stones really helped with some of the big knots I had in my back. Elle was very communitive before the message and asked if I had any allergies and what hurt the most. During the massage she was very quite and that allowed me to zone out and just enjoy being pampered. I think the cost of the message was in line with what most spas charge. If you are looking for a spa, Gadabout is a small location but worth checking out!<br><br>Specialties: This location seems to be the only one that does the Himalayan hot stone message. Even if you are a ways away from here, I highly recommend going to Elle for this massage. It was so relaxing!<br><br>Hair type: I have fine straight hair and have had some pretty bad haircuts in the past. Some stylists have trouble cutting my type of hair. I have never had this issue at Gadabout. Meg Allison is very knowledgeable and has a great technique!“
