I got my hair done with Maricella. She says she’s a blonde specialist and has been doing hair for years etc. Well she overlapped the bleach so much that when she washed my hair and then brushed it, big clumps of my hair were in her hand. I was so shocked, but when I got home it all hit me - I’ve cried so much ever since and regret going to her everyday. My hair has never looked so thin or shredded in my life. I used to have beautiful long blonde hair and now it’s wrecked, it’s going to take years to grow back. I need extensions at this point. I reached out to her and surprise, never heard back. Horrible experience! Wanted to love this place because downtown desperately needs a nail salon, but this place has no idea what they're doing. The girl filed my nail beds raw while trying to get my gel polish off, and apparently doesnt know what a square nail looks like. To avoid further torture I asked for a coal of clear polish and left, but not before getting charged $37 for this "service".

It is a very nice salon and I went in for a gel manicure. It was described as indulgent and 45 minutes, but I was rushed in and out by the owner. There was no soaking of my nails in water, she just started working on them dry, and I had to go into the bathroom to wash them when she finished filing and before she started painting. I thought that was gross. The massage wasn't a massage; she rubbed oil on my hands and sent me on my way. The 45-minute experience I was supposed to have probably lasted 25 minutes and I felt cheated.
