I saw this cool salon pop up in the neighborhood but was nervous to leave my current stylist. Finally checked out their services online and was persuaded: team approach, weekend hours and lots of options. Had a consult with Adriana who really listened, formulated a design plan and answered lots of questions. Took the plunge and got invisible bead extensions. The experience was very professional and relaxing. After a few days with my new locks, I loved the length and volume but wasn't in love with the color match to my hair. I’m picky-picky about my hair. This place cuts it too short. This place isn’t brave enough. That place is snobby. Etc, etc! For the first time in I don’t know how long, I got the haircut I asked for!! PERFECT!! The thing im not picky about it the interior of a beauty salon, but for those who are, this place is totally cool with a sleek Bali-style, bohemian look. The people working there are not snobby, not pretentious. They are comfortable 5to talk with and around. I found my next hairdresser and will probably stick with this one for life!
I had a scalp facial with Shanelle and it was truly a wonderful experience. When the main part of the scalp facial was over and we went back to her chair, another patron even commented how relaxed I looked and asked what service we were just doing! The peace I felt after the service, nearly matched how good it felt to get a scalp facial. There's a device that let's you look at your scalp before and after and it was in such a better condition after Shanelle finished the scalp facial. And! When I was finished, she had a tasty warm cup of tea waiting and then proceeded to style my hair so I wouldn't walk out wet! I will be back regularly for this service.... read full review
