“Excellent service! Contacted on a Sunday for help moving my stacked washer/dryer unit which was stuck and impossible to move by myself. Derek and Derek showed up within an hour of my contacting them, well prepared with all the necessary tools. They were able to move the unit, and even reinstalled the closet door, all in less than 20 minutes. I wasn't charged anything beyond their reasonable trip fee - very surprising considering it was a Sunday on short notice.After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars to accomplish similar tasks with some of the big companies in the valley (the ones with fancy trucks and pushy salespeople) I was amazed how simple this transaction was. “We hired Fix It Floyd based on the recommendation of a neighbor and could not be happier! We had a couple of tricky updates to make to our home - one was adding a door to the arched opening between the primary bedroom and bath. We were unsure how to solve this, and Brian suggested a design we really liked. It turned out so well, we've been showing it to all our neighbors who have the same problem. The other was removing a half-wall in the dining room and matching the missing travertine tiles. Brian went way above and beyond by driving an hour each way to the tile polisher to make sure the finish on the new tiles would match the old. He also pointed out and repaired at no extra cost a bad drywall repair in our bathroom. There were other small updates like adding light fixtures, dimmers, moving wall plates, etc. The quality of work was top-shelf for all of it, and the communication was also beyond expectations. “Dave did a great job remodeling our living room wall. He filled in the dry wall cut out and built this wooden mantel and shelf unit around an electric fireplace we purchased. He used his engineering skills to create a hearth that would conceal our receivers and used existing tile we had to cover it. We are very happy with the result!Service: Remodeling“
