Peter Slowinski owns this salon with his wife, Anna. It's a great salon - though I haven't used the beauty services, other people have and love Anna's work and the hair stylists there. I go for Peter's massage therapy. (Steven recently joined the salon as the other massage therapist - I haven't used his services, but many people up here do) Without a doubt, Peter is the most knowledgeable and accomplished masseuse I have ever been to. They emigrated from Poland years ago - he was a rehab nurse there and his training shows. Years ago, I went to him and mentioned that my post-surgery knee exercises weren't getting me well as soon as I hoped.... read full review

Tucked in what used to be a hopping little corner in north Scottsdale, this full-service salon and day spa is now about the only thing happening on this quiet corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads. The Citadel used to be the home of Michael's at the Citadel as well as a charming boutique inn that now sits empty. Ah well. Times change. But back to Esthetique. Run by the husband and wife team of Anna (pronounced Anya), an aesthetician, and Peter, a massage therapist, the place has a subtle Tuscan decor and the feel of a neighborhood salon frequented by the retired, affluent residents of north Scottsdale.
