Selfishly I hesitate to write this as I don't want Michelle to book up more than she is BUT I must write this as a curly girl who has gotten cuts from the best salons in the country. I recently moved from SF and had to find a new stylist which is always nerve wracking. She is magic and by far the best stylist I've had. She gets what you want and makes it happen. I've never had anyone shape my curly hair so quickly into exactly what I was hoping for. Requested style: After not getting my haircut professionally for two years, and not finding a good stylist in Arizona in the four years I have lived here, I have finally found the one. I literally cannot say enough good things about my experience here. From the staff, to the overall environment, and specifically my amazing stylist Taylor. She somehow restored my hair and made me love it again. Typically when I get my hair cut, even if they cut it well, they can never manage to style my fine, voluminous, wavy hair. Absolutely amazing.

This was my first curly cut and style, and wow, what an amazing experience! I've never been able to get my curls to work for me, and so have just flat ironed them away to the sad detriment of my strands (even while using heat protection). I figured as I've already embraced my natural color, I'd now work on embracing my natural texture/ style before frying all my hair!
My experience at Emmi D SalonSpa did not disappoint!! Lilli was FANTASTIC and SWEET and patiently and clearly explained how to care for and maintain my own curls during the entire 2 hour curly dry cut, wash, style, and recut process. She made each step seem easy enough to... read full review
