The doctors are a 10 in my book but the CVC Portal and the Shea office phone systems are a 1! They are the worst! I received a VM saying my doctor left me a message on their system, gave me a number to call and told me to have patient ID ready. I did that and it said there was no message for me. I called the office and tried hitting zero to leave a message as directed by the system and it sent me into another recorded hold mode. So I hung up then called back and held for 20 minutes all the while listening to "we care about you, your health is important to us" every 20-30 seconds. It was maddening having to listen to that bs so many times! They'd be better off with music or dead silence. When the office person finally answered she was very nice (they all are) and listened to my complaint and inquiry about the message for me from my doctor. She said she'd transfer me to the back office where the people who can access my patient file are located. I went immediately into VM and so I left a message again about trying to get my message that I was told was waiting for me. My question is WHY is the doctor calling his own funky system to leave me a message??? WHY isn't he calling me at my one and only number in my record?!?! The website portal is just as bad. All the people are nice and generally very good, but they get "F" in Communications. I sure feel bad that I couldn't just give my doctor a 5 Star rating but wasn't sure I'd be allowed to make two reviews so the 3 Stars are because of communications from the office side, not because of the doctors. The doctors I've met are 5-Star!!
First Met Dr Espinoza while in the hospital when my BP went sky high. Have seen her ever since and love the treatment from the office staff as well as Dr Espinoza. Have never had to wait more then 10 minutes for a office visit.
I have been seeing Dr. Waram for 3 years, annually. He probably saved my life as he made me go through every test when he first met me as I passed all of the tests but the final test. He listened to my symptoms and knew something was wrong. He was correct, CAD and am now on statins. I am 63 and in good shape but my father died at 44 with a heart attack so he stays vigilant and listens.
