We ventured into Petco in January to inquire about getting a leopard gecko. A very nice young man named Wes helped us out. He helped us get everything we needed to get started and even told us about the vital care program that offers discounts on reptile supplies and pets like other reptiles and tarantulas. We immediately signed up for it and have been using it ever since. A couple weeks later I went in and bought our first tarantula from Wes. Again he helped us get everything we needed to start. We love Petco Queen Creek. We witnessed one of the worst situations ever in a pet store. Management/groom employees handled it like pros.
A lady brought her two dogs in with collars that didn’t fit. They tried to walk into grooming and of course a dog backed out of its collar. One of the grooming employees tried to help but the dog tried to bite her. Once everything calmed down they put the dogs in a cart. The owner went off on the manger telling her it’s there faults, the automatic doors should have closed her dog could have been killed. I prefer coming here over the other place. I really prefer the gentleman up front as we talk insects and chameleons. The insects here are way better than other locations and it's super easy getting in and out of the store.
