Chris Cooksey was the sales person who came to our home and sold us on getting our kitchen cabinets recovered and our countertops replaced. We signed the contract in June with an anticipated start date of September 1st '23. We were told that the entire process usually takes a few days to a week but since we were doing a partial rebuild it may take an extra week. They finally came to do the demo and cabinets on September 25th. James did a great job with the cabinets and was very friendly. They are beautiful. The day James set the rebuild, the countertop people could have come to measure. I called my contact at HD, Heather, everyday and she kept telling me they were going to call to set up the measuring. Nevada countertops Finally made contact with me after I had to get nasty with Ryan, the district installation manager. A week after the cabinets were set, they came to measure for the countertops. The kid who measured said 4-6 weeks. I complained greatly to Ryan and at least got my sink hooked up temporarily. Amazingly, they were able to bring the countertops 2 weeks later rather than 4-6. The plumber they sent to disconnect the sink, delta mechanical, smelt like an ashtray but he did his job. However, the appointment to reconnect was made at the same time and was for Friday between 3-5. I made special arrangements to be home. She called at 430 to say he could not make it but would be there tomorrow(Saturday) between 3 and 5. Shouldn't I have been the first appointment? Well, they flaked out on that appointment also. My husband hooked the sink up so we could be done with this fiasco. So yes, the cabinets are great and the countertops look nice but Home Depot admittedly contracts with some mediocre businesses (Nevada countertops and delta mechanical). Do NOT contract with Home Depot. They want you to pay upfront which is the first red flag. That way, you are at their mercy. This is the 3rd kitchen I have had remodeled and I have never had such a stressful experience. Find a contractor and NEVER pay the full amount up front.

I just had a very bad shopping experience at this Home Depot. In the past I have worked at three Home Depots and opened three in two states. I have actually met the original three men who started the Home Depot. Originally they were very customer dedicated. That slowly has worn off. As a 100% DAV, service connected, I get a 10% discount and have for decades. I went into the local Home Depot to buy a replacement garbage disposal. I took it up to the front desk to check out. The employee, a young lady, asked if I had a "smartphone" when I showed her my military discount. I said I did. She said I had to use my phone with a Home Depot app because they changed to this method a "couple months ago" and my actual VA ID was denied. I never received anything saying they changed their policy. I received NO discount! Not knowing their changing policies I was amazed that she did not say she would give me a military discount for this purchase since it's not been that long since they changed policies. But she did not care enough to do that. I looked right at her and said I will just buy it at Lowes. She just stood there looking smug but said nothing. She just did not care. Since Home Depot does not care and are now treating veterans like crap I will never buy anything from them again. I know lots of veterans and will report this to all VFWs. Home Depot's reputation continues to get worse by the day. Lowes is a much cleaner store anyway.

This is a great place to rent equipment. I worked with Charles and I found him to be both knowledgeable and very patient with explaining how the equipment worked. I will always use this place.
