Recently visited Mountain Valley to meet with a resident and work on a smooth transfer into assisted living. The team members were friendly, helpful, and attentive to my requests. Shelly in the Care Management Department took her time to discuss next steps and was pleasant. I was impressed with the cleanliness. It is refreshing to know there is another and better option for rehabilitation than some of the others. The resident received daily therapy as promised.

My husband got great care during his stay in January s/p two neurosurgeries. Staff was very caring and he got very intensive PT and OT while there. Staff was responsive to his needs and took good care of him. Home care was set up for him when he left and the whole process was seamless. They celebrate their residents when they leave knowing they all did their best to get them where they needed to be. They are available if you have any issues after discharge. One of his patient care techs was on another wing the day he was discharged and ran out to make sure he said goodby.

The staff, while being superiorly educated in significant brain injury rehabilitation, in/out patient and home health, are such a warm and caring group of people. I just started working for the hospital and only wish I had found them sooner in that my grandfather suffered a stroke. If I had known about MVRRH, I have confidence that his last years would have been so much different and more productive. In my short time, I have witnessed substantial unselfish grace and deep unconditional care for patients and family members that warm my heart.
