Our experience at White Mountain Animal Hospital was heartbreaking but extraordinary. We had to make the decision to put our sweet 15 and a half year old Cattle Dog Aussie shepherd mix to sleep. Blu was a once in a lifetime dog, and we have loved him so much. They treated us with the utmost respect and kindness when we arrived and were so gentle and compassionate with our pup. They literally wept with us and kissed our doggy goodbye with us. I cannot say enough of how comforted we were by the staff and the doctor. God bless them for their kindness and the ministry to help people send their pups to God's garden.

This visit, in my mind, was emergent. I was able to see a vet same day and great care was given my pet. Christina was so wonderful. Dr Ben and Mel are awesome. I’m so thankful for this group of caring people at White Mountain Animal Hospital.
I brought my 8 year old dog Mary to White Mountain Veterinary Clinic because she has a swollen belly and Mary saw Dr. Evans. 2 years ago I brought her in for the same problem. She saw Dr. Ole. Dr. Ole said she was just fat and he did no further testing and didn’t really give any diet advice. Dr. Ole displayed a lack of interest in my dog. Dr. Evans gave her a thorough exam, ran blood tests and did an x-ray. Dr. Evans came back in and compassionately gave me the results of the tests. It turns out my dog has an enlarged heart, liver, & spleen from a condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy which can be caused by diet or congenital.
