I had a classic truck with a bad starter stuck behind a custom header that I needed to get fixed. Justin and Carter from Anyplace Auto Repair were able to source the custom part, pull old, install new and have the truck running in a few hours. Thanks to Justin and Carter. I recommend them for your repairs as well. Having them come to my home across the year end holidays, letting me continue to enjoy my time off was nice. :-)
Excellent experience all around:
I was very grateful a tech was able to come out same day I called. Justin arrived on time and was courteous and immediately attentive to the task. Turns out, he was also a great guy to shoot the breeze with about cars, motorcycles, etc. After some troubleshooting he identified the issue with my vehicle quickly and explained exactly HOW AND WHY it was the problem and that was the most important aspect of the entire interaction - a thorough, no-doubt diagnosis followed by someone competently explaining the issue. Weston is a great tech. He was friendly and knowledgeable and had great customer service skills.
When he diagnosed the issue, he helped to convince me to try to get the repair comped by the dealer. (I am just a few months outside my warranty time limit.) The owner of the company called me later to follow up and give advice on interacting with the dealership.
I did manage to get the repair covered under warranty at the dealer, which got me back on the road and was a huge relief.
The folks at Anyplace could have easily pushed me to get the repair done by them, but they did not.
