I have been with East Mesa School of Guitar for nearly 2 years. As an “experienced” albeit beginner player, I was looking to get back into playing my guitar after a long layoff of a few decades where I would only occasionally strum my guitar. East Mesa School of Guitar, and my instructor Fred Boye, helped me rediscover my love and passion for playing and had a great approach to teaching me enough theory to help me understand how and why to play certain songs while also ensuring I was learning new songs and staying interested in what I was working on. I'm enjoying learning how to play guitar! Even at the age of 58! Ty is an extremely talented guitarist and instructor; he has the heart of a teacher! If you you are looking to learn how to play guitar, at any age. Go for it! East Mesa School of Guitar is the place to learn!

East Mesa school of guitar was one of the best decisions I made in my music journey! Fred and Ty are amazing and make learning easy and fun. They are extremely knowledgeable and I enjoyed every lesson!
