My wife and I had been looking for dog training for our little dog Charlie. Other at home trainers were going to use an e-collar but we didn’t feel good about it. We found Balanced Pooches and thought we would give it a try. John trains you, the owner, how to effectively use positive reinforcement, and leadership training to get your dog to listen and be your friend. It’s a very personable experience. He gives you the tools you need to continue training your dog after the sessions are finished. He’s also much cheaper than a lot of alternatives but still provides a quality service. We just finished training with John. We had a fearful, somewhat anxious 3 year old rescue mix. John couldn’t have been nicer to work with! He helped us with all of our concerns and issues in a knowledgeable and very respectful manner. We saw improvement after the first session!
